Combining the creative talents of two quintessentially British brands, Savile Row tailor Henry Poole has joined forces with 4x4 and SUV manufacturer Land Rover on a new fabric in recognition of the latter's 50th anniversary. Only 120 metres of lambswool material has been produced, made with colours inspired by the exterior paint tones of the original 1970 Range Rover - Davos White, Bahama Gold and Tuscan Blue - which are combined into a jaunty twist on the classic houndstooth check. (Additionally, these same shades will influence the new Range Rover Fifty limited-edition car range.)
Woven in Wellington, Somerset by Fox Brothers & Co, the fabric will shape 50 bespoke jackets made exclusive to Henry Poole & Co.
