Villa Minuty brings Rosé to Rosewood London

The French Riviera? Not quite. High Holborn. The iconic Edwardian courtyard of Rosewood London is being transformed this summer into a rosé wine terrace garden. With the helping hand of beloved rosé wine estate, Minuty, the terrace is becoming Villa Minuty for London’s warmer months. Featuring all the chic interiors of the villas on the Côte d’Azur, otherwise known as the home of Minuty. Hoping that a heatwave comes back around, Villa Minuty will be a charming spot for Londoners to step in from the buzzing streets and into a space of serene ambience for a glass of blushing cuvée.

The rustic aura of the terrace hones inspiration from the old town of Saint-Tropez and envelops guests from the moment they step inside. Wooden beams line the sky as you glance up and fresh linens veil over rattan furniture. If you knew any different, you’d think you were neighbouring the Mediterranean rather than the Thames. As warm sunsets draw into darkness, wicker lamps bring a glow to the terrace – allowing enjoyment of the space long into the evenings. Greenery is also a plenty. Tables are encircled by lush ferns and flora reminiscent of Château Minuty, along with the playful addition of a swing seat similar to that on the Château’s own terrace.

Dishes at Villa Minuty incorporate the fresh produce of the gardens surrounding Minuty’s estate. From Feta-stuffed Courgette Flowers to Octopus Carpaccio and Tarte Tropezienne with fresh raspberries and diplomat cream. Served alongside, of course, a selection of Minuty’s rosé wines. Influenced by the light breezy nature of the sea air, Minuty’s rosés have a delicate and distinguishable character.

Liam Fauchard-Newman, the Head Chef at the Holborn Dining Room, has created this menu with the characteristics of Minuty rosé in mind. The list of cuvées includes signatures such as Château Minuty ‘Rose et Or’ 2023 and Château Minuty ‘281’ 2023. In addition to some exclusive bottles that are only available at Rosewood London. These include Minuty ‘Blanc et Or’ 2023 and Minuty ‘Rouge et Or’ 2022.

Art de Vivre directly translates to the art of living well. It’s a concept avidly adopted in the bays of Saint-Tropez, and now introduced to Londoners in the form of Minuty Vineyard Feasts. Traditionally hosted within the Château Minuty vineyards, these jovial feasts have been enjoyed by four whole generations of Minuty winemakers since 1936. On Saturday 29 June and Saturday 17 August, the Minuty Vineyard Feasts will bring the lifestyle to Rosewood’s Villa Minuty. Giving guests a lesson in Saint-Tropez Art de Vivre.

Boasting a grand three-course sharing menu featuring Grilled Lamb Rump with basil red wine jus and salads of fennel, orange, dill and black olive. Each feast dish is paired with the latest vintages from Minuty: Château Minuty ‘281’ 2023 and ‘Rose et Or’ 2023. Adding to the vivacious atmosphere will be live music and an open BBQ, on which dishes will be freshly cooked. It’ll be an evening for you to take time and learn to live with Art de Vivre.

The laid-back setting of Villa Minuty has been open since the 4th May and aims to continue bringing the “spirit of St Tropez” to life. Additionally combining the charm of Rosewood London with the classic elements of the home of Minuty into one inviting summer space.
