The wondrous and whimsical surroundings of The Butterfly Ball will return to the high-ceilinged glamour of The Dorchester on 25 June. This year, Caudwell Children—the charity behind the event—is proud to announce that Paloma Faith will step into the role of Musical Director for the Ball. For those unfamiliar with the chart-topping pop singer—known from the judging panel of The Voice or clutching a BRIT Award—Paloma Faith first rose to prominence in 2009 with her distinctive blend of retro soul and pop, releasing anthems such as “Stone Cold Sober” and “Only Love Can Hurt Like This.” Now, she brings her vibrant repertoire of musical talent and artistic vision to The Butterfly Ball, along with a philanthropic spirit evident in her ongoing work with Caudwell Children and other causes.

So, what will Faith’s newfound role as Musical Director entail? Well, it means that the performer’s own tastes will come into play, as she curates a full schedule of extraordinary performances to fill the stage that evening—ensuring that guests from far and wide will be vying for a seat at the prestigious Dorchester ballroom this summer. In response to the creative task at hand, Paloma Faith has said "I’m honoured to be joining Caudwell Children as Musical Director for this incredible event. I believe music has the power to change lives and I’m so excited to be a part of this special evening that will raise funds for such an important cause. Can’t wait to see you all there!”

Having featured names from Sir Elton John to Whitney Houston—and now Paloma Faith—The Butterfly Ball has raised over £25 million for Caudwell Children since 2007. Over the past two and a half decades, this remarkable charity has expanded its range of services to help disabled and autistic children reach their full potential, supporting thousands of children, as well as their families. The Ball continues to play a key role in providing this support, standing as one of the most prestigious charity events of the year, and bringing together a guest list of celebrities, philanthropists, and business leaders for an opulent evening of immersive performances, luxury auctions, and live music.
