The Hotel

In keeping with its coastal Mediterranean spirit, each room in the hotel is airy and contemporary. As ever, the crème de la crème are the suites, which come with a private terrace granting views of the lush garden or azure seascape. There’s a real sense of Spanish bohemia throughout the hotel – be it in the whitewashed walls, artistic décor and emphasis on local craftsmanship.

Guests need not travel far for a good meal as there’s not one but three restaurants on site. For timeless Andalusian delicacies, Cortijo Santa María 1962 offers the perfect tribute. Located on the historic site of the original farmhouse that stood there before Sotogrande was established, Michelin Star Chef Nicolas Isnard presents a menu highlighting the region's rich culinary heritage. Marxa Chiringuito, on the other hand, is a more vibrant choice with a five-metre orange and lemon wood-burning barbecue and live DJ sets to boot. Last but certainly not least, there’s Society – all-day dining for comfort food or your favourite snacks to go.

The Spa

The hotel’s true crowning glory lies in its spa and wellness offering. Grounded in the Cádiz coastline, salt is the common thread between treatments and experiences. These include a hydrothermal circuit, hammam, sauna, and facial and body rituals designed to promote deep relaxation, skin renewal and physical and mental balance.

Among the most distinctive experiences at SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort is the Salt Ritual, a signature treatment unique in the world, created with kilometre-zero ingredients. The ritual combines a carefully designed sequence of steam bathing, exfoliation, body wrap and massage using locally sourced sea salt, tailored to the specific needs of the body.

Terms and Conditions

Prize includes:

• A two-night stay for two at the Andalusian SO/ SOTOGRANDE SPA & GOLF RESORT including breakfast and access to its multi-award-winning spa as a complimentary treatment for two persons.
• Winner and their guest must be over 18 years of age.
• Subject to availability at the time of booking, and blackout dates including Europe Bank Holidays, School Breaks, High Season, Christmas Holidays
• Prize is non-transferable and holds no cash value. Validity on the prize will be 12 months, until 15 May 2027, with bookings made no later than 30 days in advance.
• Prize does not include flights, travel insurance, visas or any other costs not stated (including spending money) for the winner and their companion.
• Winners must ensure they have valid passports, visas and travel insurance at the time of travel. No responsibility will be taken if the winners are unable to travel due to insufficient documentation.

Reservation Procedures

• The winner is responsible for making their own reservation. Reservations should be made only by contacting our reservations department by email at [email protected], clearly indicating the following SPHERE CONTEST and adding a SCREENSHOT as a proof of this prize.  Any bookings made by individual guests through other channels and third parties (e.g. booking.com, travel agencies…) are not eligible for the prize.
• The remainder of the stay will be charged 30 days before arrival. Upon check-in, a credit card will be required to guarantee the reservation. A pre-authorisation will be taken on the card equivalent to €250 per room per night. The Hotel reserves the right to use said credit card to charge part or all of the stay according to the applicable conditions. This deposit will be reimbursed to the winner following their stay at the hotel.
• Balance payment will be settled upon arrival at the hotel.
• This offer is not cumulative with any other offers or discounts and valid only for stays in 2026 excluding Europe Bank Holidays, School Breaks, High Season, Christmas Holidays. Black-out dates may apply. Each guest is responsible for paying their own expenses upon check-out, including but not limited to accommodation, VAT, incidentals, individual restaurant reservations, no-shows at check-in, late cancellations, or early departures.
