Bonpoint have taken over Pan Pacific London hotel with magical spa treatments, a special-edition afternoon tea and infinity pool. All designed for your little ones. SPHERE’s Editor, Jemima Sissons, took on the splash zone with her six-year-old daughter Amelia who joins us with a few words.

SPHERE editor Jemima Sissons road tested it with her six year old daughter Amelia. ‘ I LOVED the long swimming pool overlooking London,’ she said. ‘Afterwards we had a mummy daughter facial and massage which used all sorts of lovely smelling potions. It was very relaxing! My favourite part however was the delicious tea with homemade scones, hot chocolate and smoked salmon sandwiches and they gave me an adorable Bonpoint bunny to take home. Best of all, it’s near my daddy’s office, so next time I can go with him!’

The new Bonpoint children's afternoon tea

Taking teddy tea parties with pots of imaginary Darjeeling and turning them into a reality is Bonpoint’s new children's afternoon tea (£29 per child), introduced as a part of the collaboration. Featuring sandwiches with cream cheese, ham, cucumber, egg mayonnaise, grated carrot, and cheesy apple slaw. Scones with berry jam are followed by a selection of patisserie in Bonpoint’s spring colour palette, such as chocolate almond macarons, cherry lollipops, and madeleines with orange blossom icing. A wordsearch and colouring postcard are also available to doodle and solve, keeping the tea as entertaining as can be.

A child getting a spa treatment? Seems interesting. Of course, these aren’t your average treatments. Whilst suitable for children upwards of six-years-old, these unisex treatments are also aimed at individuals up to sixteen-years-old who are looking for a pamper session. Even for any accompanying mums or dads that are wanting to hop on the relaxation bandwagon, The Dreamy Treatment (£100 for 30 mins; £180 for 60 mins) can be enjoyed as a duo for face and body.

Other treatments on offer include the enchanting Fairy Tale facial (£100 for 30 mins) including storytelling and the Awakening to Care Treatment (£100 for 30 mins) designed to educate on the importance of self-care and how to go about it. Giving a step-by-step guide as to what they are doing and why, this treatment is perfect for helping to guide pre-teens who are starting to build their own skincare routine.
