As well-heeled holidaymakers continue to make getaway plans for 2020's late summer and autumn months, the news of a new hotel collaboration will no doubt pique the interest of many. The Chedi Andermatt - located in the heart of the Swiss Alps - has teamed up with Lake Como-based Il Sereno on a new four-day travel experience themed around relaxation, indulgence and the finest cuisines of the two destinations.
The first two nights will be spent in at Il Sereno Lago di Como in an Alcova Suite, with access to a Valmont spa, a 60-foot freshwater infinity pool and the custom-built boats in which to traverse one of the world's most famous lakes. During the sunny Mediterranean-style stay guests will also have the chance to sample a seven-course Gourmet Dinner at Il Sereno's Michelin-starred Berton Al Lago restaurant, where modern Italian fare is inspired by the hotel's gorgeous natural surroundings.
