The final stage of St Michaels Falmouth’s multi-million pound investment has been completed with the launch of a luxury spa space – all the more reason to book in an autumn minibreak.
Upon entering, the first thing to notice is the gorgeous hydrotherapy pool – the largest in the south-west region – which comes with 21 aqueous massage stations, collectively designed to target the whole body with different muscle groups. The swan neck waterfalls make for a particularly therapeutic experience forthose with tense backs. Beyond the adjacent French windows are the sub-tropical spa gardens, which include a Japanese red cedar wood hot tub and barrel sauna, along with unparalleled views of sandy Gyllngvase beach.
