Iconic jewellery brand Fabergé has announced a new Featured Designer line, which enlists the talents of outstanding independent jewellers on exclusive new capsule collections. The debut release was made in collaboration with London-based, self-styled "Jewel Engineer" James Ganh, who has explored natural world influences in an array of imaginative and colourful pieces.
Fabergé unveils Featured Designer collection by James Ganh
6th January 2021
Launching the first in a new series for the brand, the artistic jeweller has partnered with the haute joailleie maker on a colourful nature-inspired range
The high jewellery range was a year in the making, in which Ganh and his team worked in the utmost secrecy behind the scenes at the maison. As well as borrowing inspiration from vibrant summer blooms, the designer looked back through Fabergé's archives, infusing trademark romantic aesthetics with a contemporary twist.
Adding an element of surprise, innovative mechanical elements feature throughout. For instance, brooches can be worn as bracelets if so desired, while pendants transform into rings and earrings become eye-catching pendants on matching necklaces. A bold spectrum of colours ensures a statement appeal, with such stones as rubies, emeralds, diamonds and sapphires in pink, blue and yellow juxtaposed with unexpected materials, including carved rock crystal.
Individual pieces start at £24,410, while collections start at £54,564, faberge.com
