Hanging from barely visible string, with delicate porcelain leaves dancing with arching grace, the ginkgo biloba tree is celebrated in all its glory by visual artist Andreea Braescu. She crafts these museum-worthy ceramic sculptures by hand and, with more than 1,000 individual elements to craft and position, it can take up to three months to complete a large piece.
“My wish is to breathe life into interior spaces, bringing the feeling of harmony and peace that nature gives us when we are outdoors,” she says.
