The World’s Most Stylish Book Club
The Hydra Book Club is a hybrid exhibition-bookstore-community centre presenting a curated anthology of literary work by the community of Greek and foreign artists present on the island from the 1930s to today. The project aims to highlight the island’s unique cultural heritage and prominent cultural position in Greece and Europe. With a selection of rare vintage and current editions, such as Henry Miller’s “The Colossus of Maroussi”, the Hydra Book Club aims to invite and unite literature enthusiasts and collectors to start a more meaningful and deeper relationship with the Hydra island “More than a bookstore, this project is about friendship.” said the book club founder, Josh Hickey.
Hydra Book Club will appear this summer at Thorsun in New York and the Maçakizi Hotel in Bodrum. instagram.com/hydrabookclub/

The Glenlivet relaunches two iconic whiskies

Orlebar Brown ‘Happy’ Collection
The pioneering British resort wear label continues to go from strength to strength, 15 years since it raised the standards of swimwear internationally and four years since being acquired by Chanel. The Happy collection is a shot of pure serotonin: shorts, shirts, tracksuits and tailoring in faded fluoros, soda washes and bright prints. A word of caution: the towelling sweatshirts are so covetable you may be unable to prevent your lifepartner from stealing them. As OB say themselves: mood up, colour up, thumbs up!

Drinking Palomas at La Veranda by Patron
London’s  crème de la crème attended the launch of Rosewood London’s new beautiful pop-up terrace - La Veranda by Patrón, opened in their stunning inner courtyard. But the highlight of the evening was the rediscovery of a classic tequila cocktail. This stunning Paloma, comprised of 8 Patrón Reposado, lime, agave, London Essence grapefruit soda. This  blush pink concoction is fiendishly refreshing with its mix of lime, agave with  grapefruit soda making it sweetly bitter…and very addictive. Order with some Yellow tail tuna tacos for maximum pleasure.
