Creating vibrant new riverside neighbourhoods from the rubble of the past is in London’s DNA. While Paris is achingly beautiful, its centre has remained mostly untouched since the 19th century. But London - even what constitutes its core – thrillingly continues to shift and change.

Case in point? The last decade has seen an entirely new district rise at Nine Elms in London’s SW8. What was once an unloved industrial wasteland along the southern bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea and Pimlico, is now home to two of the tallest residential towers in Europe, and an entire neighbourhood dedicated to riverside apartment living and socialising in London.

The two gleaming glass and limestone obelisks that make up One Nine Elms one will house the 42 storey Park Hyatt London River Thames Residences and Park Hyatt Hotel. The other, the River Park Tower, rises to 57 storeys and will house 334 apartments. When One Nine Elms opens in early 2024, it will set the highest bar in the city for the 21st-century living.

Visible from the Palace of Westminster, One Nine Elms is already a bold focal point. It has been developed over the last decade by R&F Properties UK, and designed by Kohn Pederson Fox (KPF) Architects. If, like us, you’re partial to details, River Park Tower is 199.4 meters high, and Park Hyatt London River Thames Residences tower is 160.1 meters high, with 19 levels of Park Hyatt Hotel space and, above it, a development of 103 stunning Park Hyatt branded apartments, featuring one, two, and three bedroom homes and penthouses.

The Park Hyatt London River Thames Residences tower contains 162,011 square foot of Park Hyatt Hotel space and 164,367 square foot of Park Hyatt branded residences space. River Park Tower contains 557,483 square foot of residential apartments.
