While Facetime coffees and Zoom drinks are all well and good, the recent reopening of Fortnum & Mason's Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon offers guests the chance of catching up both in person and in true style. As of 4th July, the award-winning restaurant has come back with a bang, serving up its celebrated range of finger sandwiches, individual patisseries and fluffy scones alongside fine teas and standout Champagnes.
Even better, for every Classic Afternoon Tea reserved in July, one will be served on a complimentary basis to a member of the booking party under Fortnum's new "Time for Tea" offer.
Of course, Fortnum & Mason has ensured that the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon has been reopened in accordance with the latest government guidelines, such as adding hand-sanitising stations throughout the space and ensuring a limit of six covers for table, while employed "social distancing ambassadors" help to regulate the flow of guests.
