Les Journées Particulières was founded to celebrate the creativity and skills of the designers and craftspeople behind the luxury conglomerate’s assorted labels. Following the success of previous editions in 2011 and 2013, this year’s three-day event will showcase different LVMH brands in 50 exclusive venues across Europe, including the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Poland.
In London, must-sees include screenings of new Nowness films at 15 St George Street, complete with a masterclass with the art and culture channel’s creative director. Meanwhile, at jewellers De Beers’ Old Bond Street boutique, Andrew Coxon, President of the De Beers Institute of Diamonds, will be on hand to meet visitors. There will also be the opportunity to discover the company’s Iris technology, which reveals how diamonds look through the eyes of an expert. Over at Jermyn Street, Thomas Pink will offer a made-to-order shirt service and at Nicholas Kirkwood’s Mount Street store, visitors have the option to monogram their own Nicholas Kirkwood shoes or create loafers using new customisation software.
